So yesterday, a whole shload of tornadoes ripped through my home state of Virginia. Colonial Heights, where my gf lives, had some damage to a shopping center, and the Target there lost its roof. Creepy thing about that is, it’s within walking distance of where a Wal*Mart was destroyed about 15 years ago.
Suffolk did not fare so well. Major devastation. 200 people injured. Early reports were that there was one death, but apparently he came back to life. Either that, or it was misreported to begin with.
I was worried about dExtrosien, being as she lives in Colonial Heights, and I was unable to reach her for a few hours. But I caught up with her, and she was fine.
Phew!
So, my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who was involved in this tornado mess, and I hope that those who are injured are healed soon, and those who lost property can rebuild their lives. Surf Wisely!
